  • 1 cup rolled oats 

  • 4 tbsp flaxseed meal

  • 2 tbsp brewer’s yeast

  • ¼ cup coconut oil, melted

  • 2 large egg, lightly whisked 

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • ½ cup almond meal

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

  • 50g dark chocolate chopped into small pieces

  • 4 dates chopped into small pieces and softened in hot water 


  1. Turn the oven on 180 degrees.  Then line a cookie tray with baking paper and set aside.

  2. In a large bowl, add the rolled oats, brewer’s yeast, flaxseed meal, baking powder,  and cinnamon. Mix ingredients together.

  3. In another bowl, add the eggs, coconut oil,honey, vanilla extract, dates. Mix ingredients together.

  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients and gently mix ingredients together until the consistency becomes like dough.  Add the chocolate chips and mix through.

  5. Roll mixture into evenly sized cookies and place on a baking tray. 

  6. Place in the oven for 10-12 minutes.
